What happens at The Round?

  • Monthly Performances

    Every third Wednesday, at 8pm we hear from 3 talented songwriters. It is a free event held at Dowse Bar, Iceworks in Paddington.  The performances are inspiring and captivating and The Round audience is one of the most respectful you will ever find...   • Industry networking

    The Round is a great place for our local industry to regularly meet. As well as songwriters, we regularly see Producers, Publishers, Musicians, Record Companies, Radio, Media and PR people through.  Come and join in the fun and you never know who you might bump into..

  • Special Events

    From time to time we host special events at The Round. These could be special performances by successful songwriter's, or workshops by industry professionals.  We are looking at all sorts of ways to help inspire and spark creativity amongst the talented members of our community.

  • Supporting Songwriters

    The Round Committee is made up of an array of different music industry professionals with different areas of experience and expertise in the music business. We are always available to songwriters and artists that are looking for guidance and advice, free from personal agenda.
