About

Charlee Watt returns to Melbourne to beat up The Beatles at Underground Cabaret!

Charlee promises a great celebration of Beatles music and an entertaining evening as she looks for hints and tips about love within The Beatles catalogue and ponders the same with her audience.

Charlee is overjoyed to debut her award-winning show, Beating Up The Beatles to the Underground Cabaret crowd. Beating up the Beatles, showcases improvised jazz arrangements performed by legends like Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, John Pizzarelli and Diana Krall. Having been inspired by these interpretations, Charlee has awed audiences with her own arrangements and twists to the songs of Lennon and McCartney.

Come and join her and her FAB4 Jazz Quartet at The Round’s Underground Cabaret and remember what all the mania and love (not war) was about.

This performance is co-presented as part of the Whitehorse Seniors Festival, which warmly welcomes our LGBTI community and their allies with a special ticket price. Supported with funding from the Victorian Seniors Festival 2024.
