About
Step into a world where power shifts, identities collide and movement speaks louder than words. CONTROL is a two-act dance production marking the inaugural season of Sculpted Dance Company featuring the contemporary and jazz choreographic stylings of Cassie Peele and Teri Pansino.
The first act features a new contemporary dance work where audiences are introduced to two opposing bodies standing as equal forces. As curiosity turns to conflict, a battle for dominance emerges — leaving one figure intoxicated by power while the other is pushed to the edge of despair. Raw, physical and emotionally charged, this act invites audiences into a compelling exploration of control, vulnerability and human tension.
The second act shifts the atmosphere into a vibrant celebration of jazz dance set to the music of Janet Jackson. Blending iconic 90s influences with modern commercial jazz styles, this act delivers dynamic choreography packed with technique, precision and undeniable attitude. Stylish, upbeat and electrifying, it showcases the versatility and strength of a new generation of performers.
