About

The 2026 Starry Carnival, welcoming the Year of the Horse, is designed to serve as a cultural bridge. The program celebrates both the traditional heritage and contemporary vitality of Chinese arts, while showcasing the cultural diversity of our society. Through a staged performance program, the event aims to foster dialogue and connection within Melbourne’s multicultural community and highlight the richness of Australia’s cultural landscape.

Internationally acclaimed ballet artist Ms Yuanyuan Tan will grace the Melbourne event, adding a distinguished artistic dimension to the evening. In addition, the renowned Little Star Chinese Children’s Arts Group will visit Melbourne, bringing a vibrant and engaging program of children’s performances to the celebration.

Singing, dancing, traditional Chinese instruments, Chinese drumming, dragon dance, and Chinese martial arts performance will bring you a night full of arts and festive joy.
