About
This year’s Performing Arts Festival (PAF) celebrates student creativity, leadership, and collaboration in a showcase of performances inspired by the theme 'Courage'. An entirely student-led event, PAF invites each House to present a 25-minute performance that integrates elements of dance, drama, music, and design.
Over the course of the term, students have taken full ownership of the creative process, from arranging the House song to coordinating the technical designs. Every decision, from staging to storytelling, has been shaped by the collaborative efforts of students across year levels.
Each performance is the result of planning, experimentation, problem-solving and team-work. Every House has drawn on their collective strengths to interpret the theme and bring their stories to life in bold and imaginative ways.
The performances will be adjudicated by two judges, with points awarded for each place. These results will contribute to the overall House Cup tally for 2025. Above all, this event is a celebration of student voice, courage, and community - hallmarks of the Strathcona spirit. Through every note, movement, and moment on stage, our students remind us of the transformative power of the arts to uplift, connect, and inspire.
